Talking Hi I am new to this bb - trying lc again!

Hi, my name is Veliza and I live in New Zealand.

I started the Atkins diet on 8 February 2001 and I lost 10kg in 5 weeks!!

However, I have found it hard to stick to this wol as I a wasnt getting hungry so I wouldnt eat - then all of a sudden WHAM! absolutely starving and would eat anything I could get my hands on. Terrible, hey!?
So I am trying again from scratch - 20 carbs a day for 2 weeks on Induction.
I don't understand quite what made me fall off the diet really. I was feeling sooo great and loosing so fast.
So I thought I would join your wondeful forum and see if it will motivate me into to being the person I would really like to be.

You all sound like you are doing so great and your comments make me feel stronger about my goals.

So, Hi from me and hope to hear from you all

Thanks

Veliza

Hi Veliza,

Glad you found us! Welcome aboard. I experience the same thing, not being hungry, and sometimes a sudden craving. I find that eating frequent, smaller meals meals helps a lot.

welcome veliza! i'm glad you're back to lowcarb! i've fallen off several times. i know it's the best way to eat, but sometimes i slip. i just jump back on the wagon. you can too! you might want to post your menus in the journal/bootcamp forum. perhaps if you're recording what you eat, you'll remember to eat more often!
