Default Need to get inspired again

Hey there, I'm Paul. Currently based in NJ, Trenton. I've been following Atkins 40 for 6 months and like how I feel in my body, lost 20 lbs and just feel more energized. Just recently my will to continue seems to be waning away, I can't understand why really. So hoping joining the community will bolster my spirit a bit. Thanks for having me!

Welcome Paul
You have found a great low carb forum for advice and support.Success stories and Milestones are inspiring. Or maybe join a Buddy group or challenge. Consider changing your program or foods a bit. You are doing Atkins 40 but have also read Cravable Keto...try keeping your total carbs below 20g and see if you feel different. Keep track of other health goals or Non Scale Victories (NSV), not just weight. Hope you get back your spirit.

A short 10 minute walk can pick up your spirits too.

Our bodies adapt to our new ways of eating and weight loss can slow. THIS IS NORMAL. DOnt let it way lay your plans.

A number of inspirations available here:

5 pound challenge
daily wiegh in
Monthly wiegh in
90 day challenge

CHeck them out and maybe one speaks to you, and will inspire you to continue.

Find these under CHallenges--all fun......

Welcome, Paul. I remember when I went to the States in 2016, passing through Trenton on the train from Philly to NY and then back again a few days later. Saw a slogan on the side of a bridge at one point which I got a photo of: "Trenton makes, the world takes".

You've joined for similar reasons that I did about 2 years ago now. I was about halfway through my own LC journey and just felt like I could do with a bit of support to see me the rest of the way home. Well in my experience, it's definitely worked, so I can't help but suggest that you've done the right thing in coming here.

Hope to see you stick around!
