Hi Elisavet

I'm not from Greece, but it's great to see you here.

I haven't heard of anyone on the site from Greece, but there are plenty of us from all other parts. Welcome aboard

What part of Greece are you from? It's such a beautiful place...I had some time there awhile back while doing my travels and absolutely adored it

Lesley

Talking Hello, hello

Hi Leslie,

I am from Athens (sniff!!) but I' rather be living in a quiet island somewhere in the Aegean (oh well you can't have everything.)
I haven't been to New Zealand but a couple of friends that visited have told me that it is a beautiful and enticing place. It is in my immediate plans to visit as soon as loose the weight and can appear in public in a swimsuit.

Isn't to great that people from all over the world come together on this site and support each other? I love the feeling that someone somewhere is going through the same 'I've got to have that chocolate feeling somewhere'.....

Have a successful day

Welcome, I had a wonderful time in Greece last year. I only spent a day in Athens and a week in Crete. I was actually working but got some time to explore while I was there. I'm American but live in Bavaria in Germany and hope to get back to Greece someday.

Glad you have joined up as I enjoy hearing from those around the world.

Susan

Default I am from Athens, Greece too!!!

Hi patriotissa!

I am from Athens, Greece too! As you can see I am doing Atkins, just started 3 weeks ago and i think it's great!

How did you find out about LC? For me it was internet and a very dear friend from the US who tried Atkins only recently.

I'll just write something in Greek to check whether you can read it:

Τί καλά που βρήκα άλλη μια ελληνίδα εδώ!

Hope i hear from you. Take care Elissavet

Hi mlk1710, I left home real young and the only family member who ever went to greece was my mum and aunt together, when I was young. I've always wanted to go but just never made the time I suppose, I can't really say that its the money either anymore as flying has become so cheap these days. I think I'm abit shy, having to meet all those family members i never got to see years ago but I'm going to need to just be brave and go ahead and break the ice kind of thing, but it will certainly happen........1 day.
I'm glad that this WOE is working its magic on you, unfortunately I had messed myself up so thoroughly on low fat diets that I am still very much in the 'healing process' of this wol. I suffer from hypoglycemia and candidiasis as well as certain food intolerances, I too think that this forum has no competition. Good to talk with you (altho its hard calling you mlk I'm wishing you well and every continued success.

Sto Kalo.

Hey Cathie, hi. My DH's parents are also from Cyprus but I wish I was in australlia, it rates as my fave place to live in the whole world, lucky girl, clever mum and dad!
Why do you say that it would be hard to follow LC in Greece? I would have thought that the opposite is true. Or have I read it all wrong? Would'nt be surprised i feel so 'foggy' lately.
Take Care

Raquel, I think you want "sagapo" for I love you. Agapimu is my loved one, i think.

Take Care everyone and enjoy this heaLTHY wol ALL.

Elisavet are you still around and have you started solving your LC probs with Mlk yet? May I ask, what probs may these be?

GOOD LUCK TO US ALL

xxxx

ahhaba,
I'm glad you know...
I thought it was something like that... the only reason I knew that word it's because of a song...
Ciao
