Default Happy No Smoking Year

To Day Is The First Day OF My Life, early this morning at around 4am the last of my party guests had just left and that ment that it was time for me to go to bed, I had 18 cigarettes left I put out all the lights in the house and then lit one I stood in my kitchen and smoked my last ciggy, I then went out side and put all that was left down the drain and off I went to bed.
On waking today the first thing I did was to put on my NiQuitin CQ patch at 21mg I know that it will give more than enough of old nic than I need so my craving will not be for nic but the hard part is the habit and state of my mind, up until now its ok, but I Know that as the days go on it will get a bit harder at times, but this time I know were I went wrong before, and I will be ready to deal with it. MY advice to anyone on patches or nicotine replacement is stick to the course, dont get over confident to soon.
Best of luck to all of you new non smokers.

Cheers Carol.

Default Way to go.

Way to go Carol,

I was going to say good luck, but you sound like you are very committed to this and that you don't really need it. Just lots of ears to listen to ya on your 'off' days!

Default 2nd Day without the Cigs.

I ask myself am I still alive, the answere is yes just about, 2nd day without what used to be my friends, 1st day back at work after the holidays, and to top it all, it was so cold the heating just was'nt heating, there were left over chocolates that unkind customers left before christmas staring at me all day so I had to have a few, my Boss accused me of eating them all, (now would I do that)........?. The only good feeling today was that I did'nt have to go down to the even more freezing cold warehouse for a smoke, and those that did go did'nt enjoy there gigs either. But I have to say that my lo carbs have'nt had a look in the last couple of days, just hav'nt been able to get my mind in gear, but as soon as I've finished rabbitting on I've promised myself that I will get all my food sorted-out ready to take to work tomorrow, and hopfully I'll be good.

By the way Zellie thanks for the welcome note,

Cheerio Carol.

Hey I am glad to see your doing good. I am on day 7 of being smoke free and almost carb free. I too am doing well. Although a little dissapointed in my weight loss 6 lbs. for the first week on the induction. But i guess i will get over it. I will just try harder I dont think I am eating enough calories. not really sure.
Any way so your managing your cravings pretty well. Are you on the Diet as well? Sorry i forgot

Good luck to ya

Pokey
