Default Pizza lovers?

I miss pizza, lol. So, I ordered a low carb/high protein pizza kit from Avidlife. It is their own brand (Avidhipro) and it is wonderful! Easy to prepare, comes with low carb crust mix and tomato sauce. All you have to do is add water, roll out your pizza base and add the sauce and toppings! I added mozzarella & pepperoni! Love my pizza and love the ease of preparing this!

You will find many pizza lovers here too. Look under the Main Dish INdex, scroll down to Pizza sub category. http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=215473
Many ways to get the taste without using a supposedly low carb flour (I know nothing about what you used but some commercial food companies that claim LC really aren't...best to test your blood sugar after eating it)
Try the Deep Dish Pizza Quiche, chicken pizza, skillet pizza (that was my go to lunch for weeks) and other ways to get that pizza taste. The Wheat Belly pizza crust, easily found on-line, is good for that bread taste but requires making from scratch.

^^ i agree- all those low carb wraps spike my blood sugar like crazy- grrrrr!
(and mess with my tummy)

i LOVE using a portabello mushroom as a "pizza" base- and sometimes just make my toppings (mushrooms/peppers/olives/onions/ whatever) cover with marinara and mozzarella- broil until bubbling and browning- top with parmesan and crushed red pepper, then eat with a fork.......

Deep dish pizza turns out amazing, and the left overs are great for the next few days. Also making a pizza omelette is also a good way to handle a craving. I like using turkey pepperoni as it's easier to cook with since it puts out less grease.

Google keto pizza, and you will be inundated with recipes. DON'T do what I did, and buy tapioca flour (paleo pizza recipe). It's got the same carbs/quarter cup as real flour.

I think, though, that because adding an egg to the tapioca flour crust made it more easy to stretch, I will add that to one of my actual low carb crusts.
