As always, i am on the lookout for new stuff. I found a pretty good ice cream at Choices at 16th in Vancouver. It is called Mountain Pride - Sugar free. I got some in Bourdoeux (sp?) Chocolate Cherry. Sweetened with Malitol/sucralose/aspertaime (sounds like a deadly combo, eh?). Once you take out the sugar alchohols, it works out to be about 4 carbs per serving. It has a bit of a strange grainy texture (not totally smooth like regular ice cream) but the flavour is *very* good. Has whole large cherries and big chunks of chocolate. I was really impressed, actually. I think that it also comes in chocolate chunk, and vanilla - and maybe one other flavour. All in all, i would recommend it for anyone who is missing the frozen treat thing. It is pretty decadent. For those of you who don't mind the artificial sweetners, that is....

I've been craving it the last week now. I think it must be the weather. When ever summer starts I get the craving for a chocolate dipped vanilla cone..... mmmmm
But I will not give in!
