hi-
Pat, that is awesome!!!
Yes, I DO believe in you!!! And you have been such a constant support for me, too.

Having leftovers for RM tonight- salad, Cornish game hen (1/2), and I have to go to the market to find a veggie. DH is still into icecream and brought home some bakery macaroons- the French kind- on Tuesday. I asked him to please not bring them as I don't really like them. His sweet tooth favorite of the moment is not what I want for my carb, usually. For today I'm thinking honeydew melon for my carb.
Hope everyone is doing great-
E

Very pleased to see 183.4 this am. I didn't expect to see a 182+ two days in a row, and this is only my second time seeing a 183. I think I am finally under 185

Had RM out last night. Planned the day, and it went fairly well. Had a light breakfast cm of 1 slice cheese, 2 stalks celery, 1 oz. half and half. Lunch was a Jimmy Johns roast beef unwich (no cheese). RM was a particular burger I like with the bun, and for a side just sautéed vegetables. 2 oz. half and half with my coffee.

Tonight's rm will be leftover baked chicken breast, prolly a gluten-free wrap, my tzatziki sauce, baked apple (and big salad to start).

hi-
sending a shout out to all CAD/CALP ers. Jandy- Mayflowers- MIW- how are you all doing??? Anyone who is lurking- jump on in and post. Pat and I are having a great time here - come on in!

Had Peruvian chicken last night- it's a great RM for me and would be a great CM too. I had a 1/4 white chicken, friend plantains, salad and water. DELISH. Had a cookie too- called an ALFAJORE.
DH had that and then a cupcake later.

Tonight I'm not sure. We will either go out for a burger (my planned meal will be the burger and bun and a salad), or stay home and I will figure out something. I have salad and frozen veggies and lots of other choices. We are going to a family wedding on Thursday and then to see DD- so I'm trying to clean out the fridge. I LOVE seeing the grandbabies but this travel is getting old. I guess I just like being home.
I'm thinking of taking a small cooler and blue ice with me to the wedding- so I can have some food in the room. NO fridge- I wanted to stay in a Residence inn but my sister booked the Hilton. Oh well.

later-
E

Waving Hi. Eno, I like to think there are those who browse, and see how well you are doing in your many year maintenance, and how I'm doing as I reach that stage of eating the CALP way.

Yesterday was a glorious day that began with an early morning hike up on Mt. Rainier. It was the most strenuous hike I've had since my 20s when I hiked in the White Mts., in New Hampshire. I didn't get as far as I wanted, but I did do a mile and a half, and got marvelous photos along the way.

Food was good except for a poor decision on my part to eat something frozen too long in my freezer that I should have pitched...bleagh.

Saw a 182.8 this morning (after sleeping late), only my second time seeing the 182s.

I may have said this before, but oh well...I keep starting to put a 2 in front of my weight Think I'm still having a hard time believing I'm back in the 100s

Had a good week last week! I lost 1.93 pounds, for a total now lost of 184.4 pounds.

Hope to have an equally good week this week!

My weight this morning is 183.6 - pretty good for a surprise eat-out RM yesterday at a new restaurant!

Hope everyone has a good start to their week.

This is weird. I haven't been on the board in weeks and then I got an urge to check today. Low and behold you were calling me.....

Sadly, I can't report good things during my absence. Is it too late for a new beginning?

My emotions got in the way. I was angry and bitter about not finding a job. I just gave in once and then it kept going. I had applied for so many and even had some interviews but nothing opened up.

I am okay. I just keep looking and applying everyday. I am okay financially. My husband works but we could use the extra income.

hi-
Jandy, I'm sorry it has been rough. One of the ways I take care of myself- so I can handle all the craziness of my life- is to eat on plan. When I eat the CALP way I feel good and have more energy and think better. While stuff around me is very stressful, when I give myself TLC by eating on plan I feel like I have a little edge.

anyway- on my way out the door-

I do need remember that following this plan is loving myself and giving myself the best. The good thing about it is that it can be followed even on a limited budget. No fancy things to buy.

Yesterday was good.
My dinner RM was a salad, pork chop, potatoes, green beans, small glass of sweet tea.

I believe I feel better already!
