Karen, you are doing so well. Ignore the rise in weight. It just tells you that you have been "Wunnin' and exocisin and stuff"'. DS, when in the 3rd grade, said that to me when I had to pick him up from shool early. He was amazed with all of the sweat he was producing and asked him why he was sweating so much. He excitedly said "Shoooot,Mom, I've been wunnin' and excosin' and stuff"! I had to laugh. He is now 18 and we still laugh about that moment.

Well I have been walking steady on the treadmill for a couple of weeks now. I have gone 60 min once and 30-40 min the rest of the time. (I had never gone over 45 min before) I walked leisurely (sp?) at the mall Sat. Got in about 2 miles with that but did alot of standing and browsing!

Weight this am was 139!

Have a headache so I may forgo the walk tonight.

Well on the exercise front I am doing very well. Have been walking several times a week. I am going at a pretty good clip. It has really helped strengthen my muscles. Today was the first day I didn't have and uncomfortable feeling in my gut area( Something I have had since my gall bladder surgery in Nov.) I walked 11/2 hours today. Several others days it was 1 hour. That is the most I have ever walked at one time. I am very proud of myself.

I am continuing the light weight lifting. I really enjoy that. Haven't been sore from that so I guess I am really just toning. Maybe sometday I will lift to build some bulk. weight 128
