Question Are these symptoms Candida?

I think I may have Candida. I’ve been off and on different antibiotics for a while for my acne while in high school and college and more recently I’ve been on a bunch of them for Lyme disease. My Lyme is coming along “nicely”, but I think I have yeast issues to address now.

My main symptoms: Always feel drunk/lightheaded, occasional tingly feelings in hands, a bit more gas than usual and some other symptoms that are pretty minor and not that frequent. I don’t have rashes or skin issues. I have had a mild case of Rosasa (sp?) for several years. My joint pain is mild and in short periods. I’ll have a semi-sharp pain in my knee or finger for about a minute or two and it goes away.

Could this be Candida? I’ve been on Fungal Defense and low carb no sugar for about 10 days. Not much improvement, in fact my drunken feeling is a bit worse. If it is Candida how long till I start seeing improvement? I’m pretty thin and don’t want to loose much any weight, which is impossible I guess.

I certainly don't have any training in this area, Lenny7, but based on what I do know, I don't think candida would be my number one suspect. The symptoms you describe could be any number of things and I sure wouldn't rule out candida, but it sounds like you may have several things going on at the same time. You've probably already considered this, but could your symptoms be part of the Lyme disease? In any case, you probably can't go wrong by staying on the low-carb no-sugar diet, although if you're already thin you may not want to go TOO low-carb. Hopefully someone else on this forum will be able to be more helpful. Good luck!
