Congratulations! I can so relate to your story. I hope I can stay motivated. It is hard since I am doing this totally without a support network, but early last year I had managed to get down 35 pounds and it felt GREAT! Currently, I have gained all but 13 pounds back, and that is just because I have lost a couple in the past 2 days. It does feel good when it comes together, doesnt it? Congratulations again and keep it up.

Good for you. Your story is truly inspiring. As I definitely can relate to what you said. But I am glad that you have overcome your unhealthy addictions with food and are moving forward towards good health.

[I]Congratulations! I just started low carbing on Dec 28th. Your post inspired me. I'm doing pretty good, but haven't lost some of the cravings. I'm determined to keep at it.

Great work!

Here's one tip I can share: konjac noodles.

Whenever you are about to go off the wagon and you NEED some carbs, Konjac noodles can fit the bill and allow you to feel you are cheating without the carbs or calories. By the time you add the sauce, you won't even notice that you aren't eating real pasta.

I've never heard of Konjac noodles!!! Where can I find them! I did cook up spaghetti squash the other night with some low carb pesto sauce. It's ok -- but I'm missing the real noodles. I can survive without them, but.......I'd love to try the Konjac noodles.

My health is my support network.
Since going low carb my Glucose reading has dropped from over 200 to around 128.
My blood pressure has dropped from around 200 over 90 to this morning's 113/76.
I have more energy and a more positive outlook, and am looking forward to one day
(soon hopefully) buying myself some 'non-fatty' clothes.

I'm my biggest fan ~ in more ways than one.
