Hello everyone in Gatineau/Ottawa area. I am new to this forum and I have a question on the SCD. I started the Specific Carbohydrate Diet 3 weeks ago for my IBS but I have great difficulty in finding Dry Cottage Curds (AKA DCCC) in this area. Would anyone know where it is available? Thanks for your reply in advance.

I have never seen them for sale but a Polish friend has them pressed like mini flatbreads with a topping on them. The are a little crubly but are definitely dried, pressed cottage cheese.

Try a specialty store that caters to Polish foods like the Warsaw Polish Deli on Richmond Road or Continental Delicatessen, 57 York Street, 613-241-7025, or the nearby Sausage Kitchen.
