Well as a few of you in this forum have suggested, I decided to study more on this low-carb diet thing. Today I went to the book store and got the Protein Power Lifeplan book and also one called Syndrome X.

I have PCOS (as some of you know) and am also insulin resistant. Syndrome X is also known as Insulin Resistance (if I'm not mistaken... right Doreen?). And I also noticed that in the protein power book, they also look at insulin resistance.

So I hope these two books will give me more knowledge on this low carbing, and help me find a better way of life, and diet ...

And eventually have my dream of becoming a mommy. PCOS SUCKS!!

Jos

Thumbs up Protein Power Lifeplan

hi Josee,

Check pages 53 - 54 for more information on Metformin. I'm still trying to find out if the timing of the doses is a factor for your gut problems. The Eades' do also give brief mention to PCOS, pg 24 and 40.

You can do this!
Doreen
