Default Peanut Butter Yogurt

I am passing on this nugget before swearing off it. I GORGED on this. It truly is addictive. You are warned!

I mixed a heaping tsp of natural peanut butter with about 2-3 rounded Tbl of plain greek yogurt. Added in peanut flavored Da Vinci syrup. Mixed well. Couldn't stop eating it it was so dang good.

Nancy,

We should start a support group for this addiction!

<I just recently started adding several scoops of chocolate whey protein powder to the mix so at least I can pretend it's a meal!>

What is the difference between "regular" plain yogurt and Greek yogurt? What part of the store can you find Greek yogurt, same place as regular yogurt?

Greek yogurt is full fat yogurt. It is also much more solid than regular yogurt and has fewer carb. It is incredibly creamy and has less "sour" taste than regular yogurt.

If your store has it it'll be in the dairy section with the other yogurt. I've only found it at Trader Joe's. But perhaps Whole Foods market carries it too, or Henry's. I haven't looked anywhere else.

Who would have thought peanut butter mixed with yogurt could be so divine?

Nancy, my Trader Joe's has the Fage (sp?) greek yogurt, and their own label, Trader Joe's Greek yogurt, which comes in full, half, and zero fat. The zero fat carton lists the fewest carbs of all of those choices (including the Fage).
I was surprised at that. Have you noticed that?

I just got a bottle of Gingerbread Davinci syrup, and your post gives me an idea of what to try it in...
