Default Thanks to all of you

Just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your thoughts and encouraging words.

Yesterday's menu:

BR: 1 coffee, 2 pieces of LC bread (it's called Betty's light in case someone wanted to know) with peanut butter.

Lunch: Someone took me out for lunch to a vietnamese place. I wanted to have just veggies and meat but their prices were expensive. Since that person was paying, I looked at the less expensive items which either contained rice or pasta. So I had the rice with chicken. IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD. But I figured... OH MAN here I go again.

Dinner: DH wanted chinese So we went to a friend's restaurant. I had the least amount of battered stuff and didn't even touch the rice. Had 2 sprites though.

When I got home I had some of those sparkling fruit drinks (diet) with no carbs. To treat myself (although I didn't deserve it yesterday) I usually drink them in a wine glass. DH kept calling me princess because of it.

MY MINI GOAL FOR THIS WEEK: go down to 180 exactly!

Talking Go Josee GO...... go Josee Go!!

Ya'll are doing great!!

I had major food company over last night. My aunt's husband is a very fine chef and he came loaded with many grocery bags full. Good thing they only come to town a few times a year or I would be in trouble.

I could go on and on about his guac...and his salsa's..... but we don't need to go there do we? I ate pretty well I do believe, as most of it was Low-Carb, however dinner was a two hour affair from start to finish....and it was way later than I normally like to eat. Today I am up a half a pound. I am not going to worry about it. I am going to ignore it and tomorrow it will be gone. So there!

You folks are SO good for me! Thanks!!
Libby

Salsa...guacamole...pico de gallo...Oh, Libby!! You little vixen! Now I'm dying for Mexican! Occasionally we're all faced with the unavoidable too long dinner party, or simply irresistable food. It really makes me smile that you're not sweating the half pound. And once in a great while, it's worth a half pound! I think not making a huge deal out of one evening makes it much easier to avoid the "throw in the towel" line of thinking. Good Luck! ciao!!

Default hi folks

HI EVERYONE,

CHICKEN, SALAD, BLEU CHEESE DRESSING FOR LUNCH
SALAMI, CHEESE, CHICKEN, SALAD FOR DINNER

I THINK THE ATKINS MAY BE BETTER FOR ME. I THINK I TENDED TO GO OVER MY CARBS FOR SWEETS ON CAD. AFTER INDUCTION I'LL ADD SOME MORE CARBS IN. I'M SURE EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE I'LL WANT TO HAVE A CAD/CALP DAY. LIKE ON EASTER. BIG ITALIAN 4 COURSE DINNER AND DESSERT. I JUST MAY SAY F*** ALL DIETS FOR THAT DAY. WE'LL SEE.

EVERYONE IS DOING GOOD HERE. I'M GLAD. TOMORROW I'LL WEIGH. WISH ME LUCK. YOU ALL KNOW ABOUT MY RELATIONSHIP WITH THE SCALE!

Doing my multidiet, its easier to decide when to stop with the carbs.

I'm taking guidelines from all of them.

Atkins has no requirements on protein, PP carb max seems a bit big for me. Seems like snake oil vs scare tactics. SHEESH!

So, today : protein 103 gms
Carbs 25-13 gms fiber = 12 ECC
Fat 114 gms

Think I can lose weight on that. With calp, I was eating way too many carbs, too. I thought it was ok.

Default it fits! it fits!

This morning I was humin' and hawin' about what to wear to show my dog in this weekend and I pulled out a favorite that I have not worn in nearly TWO years. IT FIT....IT FIT. Not only does it fit but the skirt is rather big. I just am so amazed and excited I couldn't believe it!

Now, to give ya'll a vivid picture...... I have 10 pairs of JEANs hanging in my closet. They are in order of size. I grabbed my biggest pair, which is a size 10. I can put them on!! My old baggy pair that I have been wearing are a size 14 and about ready for the dumpster. I don't know where my 12s went...... did I have a fit of despair and throw them away thinking I would never fit into them again? Or did I just jump up a size the last time I gained weight? I dunno.
So I got out some Levi shorts in a 10... I can do them up without a problem!!! Yippy!! Of course they will look better in a couple of weeks...but thats okay. It made my day!

I wanted to share this with you because I know that many of you have these same kind of moments that I do. We can do this. We can do it better if we stick together!!

Oh. BTW....... I am down that silly 1/2 a pound so I am back to 166.5

Ya'll have a great day and I will see ya after the weekend.
Libby

Angry It's time to be an active participant

I started today great with a boiled egg, but by lunch it was a bust. I had a cheeseburger and jalapeno poppers. What a wipe out!! I was feeling really bad, so I decided to come home to see if I could find a little inspiration to keep on going. As you may have noticed, I don't post a lot, but I read posts everyday.

I think its time to put it all on the line. Post everything that goes into my mouth so that I can be praised or punished.

Libby you really inspired me today I think becoming an active participant will help keep me focused and hold me accountable. Lord knows I've started and stopped so many times before.

Hello,

Time to go grocery shopping, tummy is full.

B - Omelete slathered in mayonnaise
L - Sardines
D - roast chuck arm and cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli with mayo and 2 tsp of ground flaxseed.

Finally put my stitch counter for knitting in the windowsill in the kitchen so I can keep more accurate count on my water. All set for tomorrow.

Come on everyone, if you were allergic to a food, people would bend over backward to help you. You are allergic to carbs!! Too many and you will die prematurely.
