Demi,

just yesterday I told John that most of the time I forget, that I was a smoker just 4 1/2 month ago. Often I just think about it when I see people standing outside smoking. Here in Canada you can not smoke in any public buildings anymore..or bar or restaurtant ect. Then I think about how I use to stand out there sucking in my needed nicotine. Boy it does feel good to be free of this Whooohoooo for us !!!!!!

I am a non-smoker for: 4 Months 2 Weeks 1 Day 21 Hours 57 Minutes 26 Seconds
Cigarettes not smoked: 1779
Money saved: C$645.21
Life saved: 1 Wk 5 Days 8 Hrs 38 Mins 56 Secs

I'm also celebrating 4 months living without cigarettes! All I can say is I don't know how I managed to do all the physical activities before with my lungs full of smoke! Oh yeah, I didn't!

Congrats to everyone on their success!

My stats are below. Suprisingly...quitting the cigs was easier than quitting the carbs! Ah well...guess I'm just weird that way...

I used the patch; I have been a non-smoker for six months! I love being able to breathe again. My husband has been a non-smoker for one year and four months!

I don't crave cigs. I crave a nice relaxing Nicotine Patch from time to time, but I don't give in!!!

Kalico

Hey Kalico,

Congratulations on being smoke free for six months! It does feel wonderful to breathe again. Also how about not having that nagging cough? It is 14 months for me. I feel so much better.

Keep up the good work!

Closing in on 6 months smoke free! God, do I ever feel great. As Mischa said, not without bumps in the road too. A major stall in weight loss but at least no gain. I still have the occassional craving that gets squashed immediately when I smell someone who smokes. YUCK!!!
Congrats everyone!!!
