Default Help, I'm thinking of doing a "refeeding". What food is high carb low fat?

I've been in a stall no weight loss not inches lost for over a month. My carbs are around 25 a day. Plenty of water, 3-4 oz cheese. Never cheated etc etc. We've all heard it. But I have been thinking about trying what I've heard others call the refeeding of the body. What I have read about it if I do this it's to be a high carb low fat feeding. What would I eat to try this?

Deana

DeanaJane, I suggest you do a big old fashioned search on this site for "refeed" and "leptin" if you're interested in learning more about it. You're better off educating yourself as you're likely to get all kinds of replies about eating this and eating that which are not accurate. Refeeds need to be done according to guidelines or they are just binges and will not give you the desired results. A lot of people say they do a 'refeed' just like a lot of people will say they do 'Atkins' w/o having read all the information, and we know what they do when 'Aktins' doesn't work for them

MHO, which I realise has not been asked for, is to keep to your plan and let nature take it's course. I've seen many LCers derailed trying this. If you're a self diagnosed carb addict I suggest even more strongly that you do not try this.

This is a very interesting article and it makes you think!
I am tempted to try this!
still thinking about it. But when you stall for 2 weeks and you are only 6 weeks into a diet it does make it feel like it is either a refeed or give up!!!

Maybe the refeed is worth a shot before giving up!?
Never had this happen the first time i tried PP. I lost 55 lbs with no substancial plateaus. This time I started and lost 6 in a month and now 2 weeks with nothing! I really want to get past this point!!!!

I didn't refeed and I'm over my stall. I did however have to cut out my beloved cheese. BUT I'm moving in the right direction again.

Deana
I was really afraid to refeed. I don't know if I have the willpower to stop.
