Default Cognitive Dissonance (Keto for Epilepsy vs Obesity)

Why do all the official people allow/recommend keto diets to treat epilepsy, even though they think it's going to kill them from heartdisease/stroke/diabetes etc. because of all the arterycloggingsaturatedfatandcholesterol,

but if someone wants to allow/recommend a keto diet to treat obesity they are just like Adolf Hitler and are going to kill that person via heartdisease/stroke/diabetes because of all the arterycloggingsaturatedfatandcholesterol?

Does that make any sense?

ROFL----it is all about PROVEN results and balancing the risk...... afterall we can all lose on SAD right, and that is balanced diet without any risks, right??? THAT it the take by the imminent powers that be that govern the treatment methods of our doctors.

They cannot use any treatment that is not recommended by the powers that be, or else their lisence is at stake.

Remember Dr Noakes???? Case in point. Recommended low carb diet for a child and got sued -- by his countries medical association. SUED. Took 4 years to finish the court drama and $1M in defense -----he won 16-0. Appeal deneid.

The world of doctoring changes VERY SLOWLY---

Bottom line is if the doctor is not familiar with that treatment, they will not approve it.

When I asked my doc for an alternative to the med she was prescribing for me as I had read up on options, and wanted to try another one, she nixxed it as she did nt have any experience with it. Isnt that reassuring!!!
