Default New Here!

Hello Hello!!!

Just joined this site! Heard from a few people that it would be a great place to get support!

I (re) started low-carb on June 18th of this year and have lost 32 pounds so far! Woohoo!

I am very low carb and very low calorie at the same time, with a few extra pats of butter here and there. Who can resist those, right?

I have a beautiful 7 year old boy (I guess he's old enough to be called handsome now! lol), and am an undergraduate student in her senior year. I'm hoping to go on to a doctorate program by the start of next school year!

I have a VERY stressful life, but I am trying to manage life and food issues at the same time and have been very successful over the summer. Lets see if I can keep it going during the even MORE stressful school year (Doctorate applications, GRE's, trying to graduate summa cum laude, daunting classes!).

I just wanted to say hi! I hope we all can become good friends!

Welcome, the people here are very informative and offer loads of support...you will only enhance you new way of eating by joining.

Congrats on your excellent losses so far...I noticed you said low calorie, just don't let yourself get too hungry being low cal without having an emergency snack with you...that is what happens when I go to low cal...then I am scrambling to find something on plan to eat.

Good luck, you are doing great so far
