Shop the edges? OMG she's right! And it initially seemed and expensive diet, but after 12 weeks I can honestly say it's soooo cheaper then low fat low cal, and nutrisystem. I have an advantage living alone....I shop for mainly just me, not a family (and the boyfriend, but I like buy him a a couple potatoes, a sweet potatoe..... easy to keep from my eye.) so my fridge sounds like an atkins list: butter, olives, eggs, cheese, meats. I'm sure it's to much bacon but tough. Quick and easy. I gotta work on buying more prepackaged ready to eat Salmon.

When my 18 mo old granddaughter came to stay a few days, I got her some Gerber lunchables, whole milk, and juice cuz I had nothing in the house! LOL

side question: I LOVE bacon, but hate cooking it. The whole apartment smells like bacon for days. Has anyone found a magic air freshner which eliminates bacon odors?
I have tried name brand precooked bacon and generic (like walmart and Miejer's brands...they are all reallly good. Usually cheap too 14 slices for less then $2.60

Default pre cooked bacon

I agree with the pre cooked bacon. I buy a huge bag of it at Costco, cheap and easy. And none of the greasy mess. So easy for quick last minute item for breakfast, on a salad, burger. It's awesome. I laughed at it when i first saw it like who would be that lazy but I have to say ME!!!! It's fantastic.
