Default Atkins to Sugar Busters

I have been on Atkin's since March. I was recently given a copy of the Sugar Busters book. I'm still in the "learning" phase, but I see more of a variety of foods on the Sugar Busters plan. My question is, if I choose to switch over to Sugar Busters, how will that affect my weight loss, etc.?

Default WELCOME!

Steff & Wanda!
Great to see you here at the SB Forum!
Hope to see you posting often.

Steff: you may pick up a couple of water pounds when you add the grains back. But you will lose them within a day or two as your body adjusts to the extra carbs.

Wanda: Good job on the weight loss! And I agree --- its all a mindset. I'm to the point now where this is just how I eat --- not a diet.

Thanks for the info. I am enjoying the low carb lifestyle, as well. I just thought that Sugar Buster's had more variety than Atkin's and might be easier for me to deal with for the rest of my life.
Keep up the great work!

Thumbs up to steffph

just tried for a month, really, you will love the variety ...but keep in mind not to eat too much of the good things!!!! (basmatic rice, 100% rye bread, ect)

at the begining I was 198....now 160 (and going strong!!! )

and if you don't like it...go back to induction

Steff!

I was on Protein Power before SugarBusters. I really like the freedoof eating more fruits and veggies and the occasional whole grain.

I am losing weight at the same rate I did on PP and able to eat a much wider variety of foods.

Of course YMMV but that has been my experience.
