Default Need a substitute for stevia/FOS blend

As soon as I think I have everything that any low carb recipe could call for, I pick one and there's something new. I want to make peanut butter cookies from the 500 low carb recipes book and I have everything except stevia/FOS blend. It calls for 1/2 cup splenda and 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon stevia/FOS blend. I don't want to go hunting around town for it. I have stevia concentrate, dark liquid with the dropper; splenda; polyD; fiberfit; and something that starts with an X. Can I sub any of these things for the stevia/FOS blend?

According to this chart here:

http://www.healthyshopping.com/Swee...Equivalents.asp

1 1/2 to 2 T. stevia/FOS equals 1 cup sweetening equivalent.

Using this as a guide, 2 T. + 1 t. stevia/FOS should equal:

1.16 to 1.5 cups sweetening equivalent.

Since, I don't really trust the taste of the dark liquid stevia, my recommendation would be to go with xylitol. Xylitol is slightly sweeter than sugar (130%). To sub for the stevia/FOS you'd use

.9 to 1.15 cups xylitol

That's a lot of xylitol, though. It might have crystallization/cooling issues. I'd use more splenda and less xylitol.

1 C. splenda
Scant 1/2 to 2/3 C. xylitol

Thanks for the help. I feel like I should have paid more attention in chemistry class. Hehe
