I was wondering if ther was another way to make the crust besides using Carb-quick. They don't seem to sell it here in Florida, lol... at least not that I've found.

As far as I know, the only way you can get it is online.

My children just loved this desert. I cut the Carbquick way down tho. Would have been overkill. Used 3 sweetners and pumpkin pie spice instead of nutmeg.. YUMMY!!!

What is carbquik? Can I replace it with ground almond and whey protein powder?

Perhaps you could consider telling some people - allergies are a consideration.

Ok only one complain, the kids and my BF almost ate it all.
To whomever invented this dish! Thank you. Its wonderful. I cannot believe how it taste JUST like apples. This is going to be my dessert for xmas, but I will be making it double topped with sf lc vanilla ice cream and sf caramal sauce.

Has anyone tried mashing up the zucchinis for an "applesauce"-like mixture? I just started Induction (again!) and I don't want to screw it up with Carbquick right now.

I am confused. Is this one to three cups of zucchini in the recipe and one and a third cups carbquik?

Can I eat this cobbler filling ( without the carbquick, which I don't like anyway ) during Induction?

Has anyone tried to make this using soy flour, bake mix, almond flour, etc. - anything other than Carbquik? If so, did it work? Post your recipe even if it didn't.

Thanks!

Another good substitute for the zucchini might be chayote....it would need a longer cooking time though.

I think I'll try using a combo of ground almonds and some soy flour, so I'll let you know.

(I hate having to use ingredients that are only available online, so I frequently change recipes a bit)
