Default When subbing liquid sweetener for granular..

Does anything else in the recipe need to be adjusted? Say, a recipe calls for 1 cup granular, and I sub the right amount of Sweetzfree.. will the finished product lack the *bulk* of the one made with granular?

No, the granular sweetener provides a minimal amount of bulk. There's hardly enough to warrant worrying about.

1 cup of granular splenda has 24 "sugar" carbs. That translates into the textural properties of 2 T. of sugar. As Karen, said, it's minimal.

If you do come across a recipe where those 2 T. of sugary texture make a huge difference and you want to match granular splenda exactly, just use 2 T. of white sugar, since it has a similar carb/glycemic/caloric/textural impact as maltodextrin. Or better yet, find an alternative method of providing sugary texture (erythritol, inulin, polydextrose, acacia gum, etc.).
