Water should work just fine, but you'll have to add more of whatever sweetener you use to make up for the sweetness you would have gotten from the sf syrup.

Definitely a keeper, guys!!!!

I tried this recipe and added some ground almonds. It was quite tasty but not sweet enough. I used carb free stevia + erithryol (sp). I think that it's more difficult to sweeten cacao than blander foodslike cream cheese.

Thank you for posting !

I'm experimenting with various sweetners and would like to try Sweetzfree. I can't find it on line(Netrition.com) don't ship abroard.

Does anyone know where I can purchase it online ?

I've already done that but none of the sites ship abroad.

I think the only site that sells Sweetzfree is Sweetzfree.com. And they're limited to the US and Canada.

Try a search on eBay for liquid sucralose - there are several different brands I think, but they're all essentially equal. Several sellers will ship internationally and they're usually listed as a "buy it now".

I finally caved and tried this. It was very good! I did it with the butter and the dark chocolate in the center...next time, I'll probably just do the butter as I've not quite acquired that dark chocolate taste yet And raspberries in it for sure next time! YUM!

This is one of my favorite treats!
I mix cocoa, baking powder and 1T Splenda & stir together.
Then add the egg trying to beat it as much as possible before incorporating it into the dry ingredients. Then, get all the powder mixed with the egg, then add 1T Toranins or Davinci and a bit of butter. Then zap 1 min.

I then put it in the freezer! When cooled, top it with whip cream - it tastes like those ice cream cake rolls I used to have as a kid! YUM

Thanks Nancy for another winner!

I LOVE THIS!! I tried it once with a DARK chocolate cocoa powder, but prefer regular. I think if I try the dark again, I will use just a tad more sweetner to counteract some of that bitterness.

Also, I think I have been overcooking mine. I LOVE to top this with whipped cream AND frozen berries. YUM!

Thanx for the tip Glenda.

However the prices that I found where far too pricey. I'll buy some when I come over. Prehaps the Vitamin shop sells it ?

I've only ever seen it online - I don't think any retailer sells it locally. And yeah, it's very pricey but it lasts forever - you only use a drop or two at a time as it's intensely sweet.
