Default Food Network Broadcast - Lowcarb Revolution

FYI!

Food Network is airing the Lowcarb Revolution Special.

Here's the blurb from Foodtv.ca

THE LOW CARB REVOLUTION
A lively look at the lo carb phenomenon from the Atkins Diet in the 1970's to the South Beach Diet of today. Does lo carb dieting work? How? What's the science behind it? We'll see some amazing success stories and share some secret lo carb recipes.

Local time in BC is 11pm. I am not sure if they are repeating it.

I saw some of this tonight (much earlier than 11:00 though). I thought it was great - very positive and supportive of the LC WOL.

It was on at 7pm and 11pm PT. Wasn't exactly what I expected but on a whole it was positive. Nice to see more media concentrating on the positive aspects of this WOL

Default good show

I saw the show and it was very positive. Of course, LC was still described as a "fad" diet. <<<sigh>>>>

I got to this forum via the show because it featured George and Stella (the chefs) and their web page had a link to this one.

And it's good to see that restaurants are now sensitive to LC requirements.
