It's my first day on CALP and I'm already confused. I thought I had everything understood...but, well here I am

Reading through my CALP book, I'm confused about my CM (breakfast).
First it says, "At all meals and snacks, other than at your Reward Meal, eat Craving-Reducing foods only........high-fiber vegetables and protein-rich foods.........The amount you eat is not critical as long as you include both protein and high-fiber vegetables at any Craving-Reducing Meal or Snack. Some people eat 1/2 protein, 1/2 vegetables; others choose less protein and more salad and vegetables. We generally recommend that you take "average-sized portions" and go back for more if you like but, in the end, the size and proportions are truly up to you." [CALP page 117]
So then I checked out the Sample Daily Meal Plans. Meal after meal that I've looked at, with the exception of one or two, I don't see any vegetables listed in the Craving-Reducing Breakfast CM.
Day One - Smooth and Cheesy-Good Omelet
Canadian Bacon
tea or coffee
Day Three - Cottage Cheese Muffins
tea or coffee
Day Four - Cinnamon "Bread"
tea or coffee
Day Five - Cottage Cheese Souffle
sausage
tea or coffee
Day Seven - Breakfast Pancakes
tea or coffee
Am I missing something? It's rather conflicting information.
