I found these on other lc websites...I think it might be less carbier than using the buttermilk in above recipe? Oh and they are not made by Karen...I think the name was Dottie
Ranch Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon dried chives
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 dash cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
Mix everything well and keep refrigerated. Makes about 2 1/4 cups.

one more you can omit the blue cheese if you like...
Ranch Dressing w/Blue Cheese Variation
3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
3 ounces gorgonzola cheese -- crumbled
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
For ranch dressing: combine first 9 ingredients and whisk well. Add more cream if a thinner consistency is desired. For Blue cheese: combine first 9 ingredients with extra vinegar and 1 oz of the cheese. Blend until smooth, then stir in the remaining crumbles blue cheese.
Yield: 1 1/2 cups
