Hello Cindi,

It was cold and foggy all day. You are lucky to be in South Carolina. It is going to rain the next few days. We won't get a chance to walk again.

Today my food regime was probably out of whack.
Coffee and broth for breakfast
Lunch I did pretty good . We were at the Selfridge Air Base. Everybody had the big whopper and I did too without the bun of course.
For dinner we all decided to go Chinese. I stopped eating before the magic hour is up but I probably ate more than I should .

It is probably going to be bad news in the morning when I weigh myself.

Hello Fellow Former Michigander,
You are lucky you moved to South Carolina.
Yesterday --first day of Spring right.. not in foggy Michigan all day was awful and today is not any better.

My diet is not any better either. Ate too much yesterday so no wt loss again. We were out th whole day and didn't get back home until 10:00 pm.

I will do better today.

Are the flowers /buds out in your area?

Can't hardly wait for all the flowers to come out.

Orchids
CAs actually need a certain level of carbs to feel well and energized. However you can go days and even a couple of weeks without or with low carbs. After that the body usually pushes with cravings to get the carbs it needs. That might be why some on lc find themselves off the wagon every couple of weeks.

CAD/CALP works well with Atkins in a cycle. 1-2 weeks of Atkins with a week of CAD. If you go more than two weeks, you might stall. You can see what works for you if you're really interested.

Orchids,

Sorry I hadn't responded to you. I have had so much going on(you can read more in my journal)that I feel all topsy turvy right now!

I'm going thru water retention, too, which makes me feel blah, but at least it's nice here! It is 75* right now! The weekend was awesome as well.

I've been to Selfridge AFB! Small world, eh? We did the Lionel Train Factory tour too. That was neat. And the candy factory that I can't remember the name of that is up there, too. There are some neat places, but it sure is cold and windy!!! I just can't help loving the south, although even here it's changed a lot from the time I first moved down 17 years ago. So many people are moving in from other places so it's harder to find the good ol' southern people who have lived here all their lives. But it's neat when you do. They are so interesting to listen to.

DH grew up down here and he can remember a lot of old time things from when he was little. Sometimes I wish things didn't change so fast, ya know?
