Default Ideas for breakfast? Lunch at work???

What do most of you have for breakfast? I can't have eggs everyday... Also, I have to take my lunch with me to work as I do not have a lunch break. I get sick of having cold cuts and salads everyday. Plus, I'm not sure which of the cold cuts do not contain a lot of carb. Dinner is no problem as I can have steak, chicken, etc. But I'm on the go from 6.30 a.m. and head straight to the gym after work. I have my dinner around 6.00 and by this time I'm absolutely famished!!!

Any meal can be anything you want to eat that follows low-carb guidelines. Don't restrict yourself to breakfast foods.

Cheryl just posted a recipe for a great sounding Deep-Dish Quiche Pizza. Have you had a look through the recipe section at the top of the page? There's lots of delicious things there.

Default Thank you!

Thanks Karen for your instant support! No I have not had the chance to look up the recipe section. I'm still learning how to use this site and not very good at it right now! Still have not figured out some of the stuff like chat, or some things mean, etc... I'll look it up... Think I need to make more of an effort also preparing things ahead of time... Will look some recipes up in a bit. Thanks again!

Default do you cook breakfast?

i have a frankfurter most days, or some bacon, or a piece of gammon, with a few mushrooms or cheese grated that's nice.

Default search

Hi this is one you could trying using the "search" feature for. It's this little globe up at the top right hand corner of your screen, right next to "home' and "logout". I would suggest typing in breakfast for the search work and it will bring up all links where breakfast has been discussed.

Good luck.

Talking morning quickie

I have to be at work by 6 am and sometimes don't have time for breakfast. One thing I found that is quick is the already cooked bacon in the box by Oscar Mayer just open it throw it on a plate with a paper towel and nuc it to desired crispiness. (about 45 sec for me) The other thing I found that I really like is EAS Advant Edge Carb control ready to drink shake (like slimfast) but only 2 gms of carbs. But make sure you get the carb control drink they also have one that is high in carbs. (learned the hard way) Any way these make good quickies
