Default Last Year's Turtleneck, This Year's Drapes

I was pleasantly shocked when I put on my favorite turtleneck yesterday for the first time since last winter. It will soon be someone else's favorite turtleneck.

Congratulations! That's an awesome feeling, isn't it.

If I were you I'd keep it. Most of my large clothes got tossed or donated. I'm glad that I hung onto a few that I wore when I was at my largest, though. I kept one XXXXL shirt and two pairs of pants (slacks & jeans size 56). They make a great visual in reminding myself and showing others just how far I've come. They are also a warning; a reminder of a place that I never want to visit again.

Oh Barb we could be twins!

Great progress.Whoooot.

I too put on a winter shirt from last year. It was oversize then and it's super oversize this year. I rather like it and don't want to give it up.....yet.

Excellent suggestion! I think I'll do that. Thanks, and yes, it sure is an awesome feeling!

Congrats! And yes, I'm starting to rethink things. I'm looking forward to going through all my big clothing and will be giving most of it away but will probably keep a piece or two.
