Default AmazLilith's Struggles...

This will be where I mark how I am doing with my TDC Challege. I wanted a place to keep all my entries to have them better visible...

I, Sophia, make this contract with myself and my fellow challengers: I commit to staying physically active for the next eight weeks. I will use this thread to stay accountable ... Each Monday, I will make goals and post them. And I am going to do my very best to achieve ‘em, too!

Week One …
* Walking (3x week)
* stretching (3x week)

Starting weight: 294

Oprah's Journaling Question
How does it feel to make a commitment to living a healthier, happier life? What will you do to guarantee you will stick with it?

(I will come back later and answer this...want to think about it.)

Sorry, I am running a day late...

This pasted week I ended up walking only 2 out of the 3 days and did no stretching. But you know what it was my goal and I guess I will just have to work towards it. I just so happy that I went out and did something this passed week!!!! I went online and brought WAP, because it is getting hot out here and I am getting unmotivated to go outside. I figure this way I can do it inside and my daughter (2.5y.o.) can do it next to me.

So My Goals for this week are

~ 3 days of Walking or a Tape
~ 2 days of stretching

Oprah's Journaling Question

Write about why you've failed in the past with other fitness and weight loss plans. What didn't work and why?

When I feel overwhelmed I have a tendency not to keep it going. I have that voice inside of me that tells me I am not good enough, so why not just stay the way I am. I am working really hard at saying to myself...YOU CAN DO THIS...YOU WILL NOT FAIL!

Default Beginning of week three...

OK...Did not meet my goal this week at all.

This week...

3x - a walk or workout video
2x - Stretching

It's time to face your fears. Write down all of your fears and apprehensions about starting or continuing Get with the Program. When you put them on paper (or your computer screen), you will find that it's not so difficult to conquer them.

Thumbs up Still working towards my first goal

Although, I have yet to meet my goals I am striving to get there! Last week I did 1x WAP but I went camping this weekend and walked and swam.

*GOALS for this week:

~3x - WAP and stretch afterwards.

Oprah's Journaling Question

Do you generally choose immediate gratification over long-term goals?
Make a list of the things you can do that will remind you of your long-term weight-loss goal, so you can better fight those urges of immediate gratification.

I do a little of both I believe...
*Look at my progress...
*Keep pictures of me before and in progress
*Journal

Goals for this week:

~3x WAP 1 mile
~Stretching after work out

Oprah's Journaling Question

Do you frequently use excuses to get yourself out of doing what it takes to reach your goals?

I do in regards to exercise...
~too busy
~The kids need my attention.
~too late....
