Unhappy I failed already

I wanted to start the sugar buster way of eating this morning. Notice how I wrote "way of eating" and not diet.

Anyway, I have yet to try any of the meals. And I woke up this morning and finished the rest of the small Carvel cake that I purchased last night. I put sugar in my coffee, and had three candy bars yesterday.

I really want to get over the LIFE LONG addiction to sugar.

Default welcome???

Hello....
sugar busters?...

I am puzzled... Are you to get yourself an overdose of sugar so you won't be tempted again?

Default not failing

Pudgyman, here's my 2 cents.

IMHO, you don't fail until you give up trying. Try to remember your motivation for going to the LC WOL!

Consider what you did as part of the learning curve for this WOL. Check to see how you feel (many times when we "fall off the wagon" our bodies feel miserable) and see if there isn't something you can learn from it. Listen to your body.

Also, check out this forum well. There is so much support available and many, many messages already posted that help remind us of how much better off we'll be if we stick to the LC WOL.

Then, pick yourself up, dust off the sugar crumbs, and make a new start. And stock up on LC foods for your cravings and get that "carbage" out of your house so it can't tempt you anymore!

You can do this. Perfection isn't required, only forward progress.

Thumbs up Hang in there

Its probably really hard to believe but once you get past the sugar withdrawals you not believe how much better you will be feeling. Add in some exercise and you will definitely have some pep in your step.

It takes a lil time to get used to it...but this WOE is way worth it.

Default Hi Pudge!

You are only a failure if you quit and you haven't quit! So no more failure talk.

Kicking sugar isn't easy.... but you can and will do it!

Be prepared for a few rocky days as you detox. Stock your pantry and fridge with acceptable substitutes for the junk you used to eat.

Treat yourself with the respect you deserve by being good to your body ...
