IMPORTANT suggestion for a new message icon

Hi. I love these forums and appreciate SO much everything available here. I've gotten such awesome support from everyone and it's been a HUGE help in my journey.

I don't have a big problem with cheating or being tempted to...but I've read some journals that are absolutely heart-wrenching. The people will talk about how HARD it is on them when they inadvertantly read about someone cheating, etc...that it sets off cravings in them. One person even discribed it as food porn! Well, I made a post today that mentioned being on the Easter candy isle and I felt kind of funny about posting it knowing how some people have such a hard time...so I was wondering...

Could you all please consider having an icon specifically for the purpose of warning other readers that there may be content that could tempt them? I realize it may not work...it would be dependent upon people actually using it...but I think most would. I don't know anything about forums and how hard this would be, or if it's possible, but thought I would ask. I think it would be a really helpful asset for the boards - especially for those who struggle so with food addictions.

Another thing that might help is if we could get the "I cheated today" posts moved from the regular boards to the confession forum. Not sure how this would work either as the answers might be based on what woe the person is following, but thought I would throw that out there too.

Hi.

The spoiler/warning icon wouldn't be much good for the reason you stated. Trying to enforce the guidelines that we have here (eg sigs, not posting questions in the recipe area) is tough enough.

We discussed the issue, and agreed that although people need to police their own sensitivities, we'll try to stay on top of the cheating threads and move them to the Confession Booth.
