Default Thanks Diane

I'm bummed. I started keeping track of my carbs and have kept them below 25 for the last couple of days, no loss at all. But, I really shouldn't notice for a few days, maybe a week. TOM may or may not be due, depending on if menopause is here FINALLY or the dieting is once again messing with my cycle.

I've been doing PPLP/Atkins sort of for 2 days and feel great. Have both books and am trying to get them read to decide on what to do - besides get the laundry done today. LOL

Thanks for all the help from all of you, I don't think I'll leave for awhile, if that's ok.

How unfair is life that we women folk have not only to deal with carbs and scales and Queen size panty hose that really are only medium....we also have TOM and menopause to haunt us!

Thumbs up Checking In

Congrats to all of you for doing well!! Remember, you are eating healthy........ weight loss will come ......beeeee patient!!

I had a long term goal to be 165 by NASCAR Sunday.... which was yesterday. I am 167...... almost !!! almost!!...... no... I am not disapointed because I can see how far I have come. This is a forever plan for me and I know I will make it. Now I get to figure out a new "mini goal".

My results for the last week? I do a weekly average according to CALP. I have lost two pounds. Not a lot...... but every little two pounds adds up. So I am pleased. I also had my TOM which always seems to interfere.

BTW.... I tested "Strongly Carb Addicted"..... yup...... thats me. I scored a 39. ugh. I feel SO much better these days.

I am sending you all cyber-hugs.
Libby

Default HI EVERYONE

HEY GUYS,
EVERYONE IS DOING SO GOOD. THAT'S REALLY GREAT. MY SECOND DAY ON INDUCTION. BEEN PRETTY EASY AND I'VE BEEN COUNTING EVERY SINGLE CARB.

B-2 EGGS, SALAMI, CHEESE,COFFEE,CREAM

L-CHICKEN, SUGAR FREE JELLO

D- SALMON, MUSHROOMS,SPINACH

ABOUT 19-20 CARBS. WORKED OUT AND CONTINUE TO DRINK AND DRINK AND DRINK.....

I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO RESIST GETTING ON THE SCALE TOMORROW. IT'S AN OBSESSION. I CAN'T HELP MYSELF.
BUT I FEEL BETTER MENTALLY. SO THAT'S A GOOD THING.
MY GOAL IS TO BE DOWN 3-4 POUNDS BY SUNDAY.
WHO KNOWS, MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!

GOOD LUCK FRIENDS.

Default Way to go!

You are all doing so well. And I fell off the carb wagon. Temper tantrum - mine, and I just ate mixed nuts. Lots of them.

I'm SOOOOO PI$$$$T!!!! I want the neighbor to MOVE or grow UP!!! Must be PMS. It doesn't rate this much anger!

OK, speaking of temper tantrum.... I had and AWFUL day....

So I went out for lunch.

BR: 1 yogurt, 1 coffee
L: Salad (ceasar & potatoe) 2 garlic fingers 1 MINI bowl of soup, then: Ate 1/2 plate of pasta with 2 more garlic fingers.

So I've decided to NOT have dinner. (hopefully I can stick to this)

Default Fighting off cravings

I'm sitting here drinking water because I WANT cookies! Oh well. I'm not going to blow the good day I had.

B: 2 fried eggs, 2 sausage patties, coffee

L: 2 hot dogs, spinach, 1 deviled egg (whole egg), 1/4 cottage
cheese

D: 1 (fairly good size) waffle, 2 strips bacon, sauteed cabbage,
more than 2 cups of salad beforehand, milk

Not enough water.. thinking TOM is on the way and I'm bloated.

Everyone seems to be doing really well!! We all have our flub days, so expect them.. But get right back on that low-carb horse and keep riding!

I'm going searching for some new ideas for meals and recipes too. I'll share what I find if it cooks up well!

Default Hi guys

Garlic fingers is sort of like you would take a piece of bread and cut it in 4-5 pieces length wise.... they're called fingers because they're thin and long (not to be confused with sticks because these are flat)

Well I didn't have dinner last night. Quite frankly I wasn't really hungry (no wonder after that meal) plus I was worried sick. DH sent me an e-mail telling me he had been rushed to the hospital thinking he'd had a heart attack. It ended up being a huge infection in his pancreas (He is also diabetic). Apparently his sugars where at 12.9 and he hadn't even eaten yet. So he's coming home today. And will hopefully be able to spend some time relaxing.
