I always have to start with breakfast though. I had tried IF a couple of times, trying to hold out till noon to eat my first meal and I just can't do it. In fact, those times I did try it, my weight crept up slightly. My husband and one of my sons are people who naturally do that, but me and my other son always eat breakfast within 90 minutes of waking up.

IF doesn't have to mean skipping breakfast. I only eat 2 meals a day. My first meal is always breakfast and my second meal is usually between 1-3 PM. I do not eat anything after these 2 meals except sometimes a cup of broth. There seem to be many definitions of IF so I guess I practice IF since I do not eat during a 12-16 hr period every day.

Until recently I could not stay on plan for more than 10-14 days at a time. I did get down to 188 over many years, and patted myself on the back for not quitting.

THese days I can stay on plan much longer. I dont know what changed. Perhaps it is my willingness to eat a spoon of butter and more recently CO. It is 2pm and Ihave not eaten today.
THese days I just cant loose the weight as easily as I used to despite a bigger effort.
