Right, CO2 in exhalation after the fuel is burned. Our mouths and noses are our exhaust pipes.

Awesome sauce! I hope I am now looking as svelte as that fourth image, now that I have lost 10 kgs!

As my friend used to often comment, "Who's wishing hurting!"

If matter in the universe is constant, I figure someone else just gained the weight I lost!

Cool explanation skol!

Kind of goes against the biochemical law:

"Fat is burned in the flame of carbohydrate."

My body does make lipase since I don't have a pancreas.

Guess I'm up the creek according to this.

Well, Peter O'Toole "Lawrence of Arabia" didn't have a pancreas either. As far as food, he said: "I really pack it away!"

He died at 81

My triglycerides numbers are high.
I take several different medications to aid in the digestion process.
I'm 11 years out and doing well.
There are only a few foods that are problematic.
I do not drink alcohol except on very rare occasions, maybe once every 3-4 years.

Didn't know about Peter O'Toole.
My surgeon had performed 27 pancreatic cancer surgeries prior to mine.
I was his first survivor.

I didn't know a person could survive without a pancreas. Congrats on your longevity.
