Puffy face

Hi guys

So, sometimes I wake up and my face is puffy (and i am not just talking morning face - it stays like this throughout the day), BUT it does not seem to be water retention, since I havn't gained on the scale. The puffy face can stay there a few days and then suddenly disappear overnight? It is so frustrating.. What could it be?

I deal with this all the time. It has been a year since my first experience. Mine is caused by "unknown" allergies.
