Default Vancouver: Low-Carb Breakfast TV

For anyone in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, I'll be on Breakfast TV, Tuesday, March 25.

Brad King, author of Fat Wars will also be appearing. I really admire this guy so I'm excited to meet him.

Think I'll be making some LC waffles!

Hi Karen,
Is that really tuesday MARCH 25th? Or NEXT Tuesday (Feb 25th?).

February messes up the mind by giving us mirrored months. Or is it just my mind?

Also I hunted down CITY-TV and found it on channel 13 in Vancouver. I did like that team at Breakfast TV when they were on CH4. Never knew what was going to come out!

Good Luck

Colin

Ooops! I'm such and idiot!

It's FEBRUARY 25, not MARCH 25. Thanks for catching it Colin!

It was sooo exciting to meet Brad King today. He is promoting his new book called Fat Wars Action Planner. I felt like a total groupie because I had brought in his first book, Fat Wars , for him to sign.

The first waffles that I started making off camera stuck to the waffle iron but I stayed calm. The batter is supposed to sit for a while and the oil that comes out of the flax and nuts prevents it from sticking. So for the next batch, I added some melted butter. I picked it off and which gave me the idea to talk about drying out the waffles and making a cereal or French toast out of them.

All in all, it was a good show and the hosts were quite knowledgable on LC. More power to Mike and Fiona!

Default AHA!

Hi Karen,
I saw that butter go in, and did wonder a bit. It was great that you kept your cool throughout all that mayhem. I guess that's from your time on the front line. I was also glad to see the positive atmosphere toward low carb, and getting it in perspective.

So now it's off to China to do research for the next dinner eh?

Hi Karen
Oh I just found this post I guess I did not look hard enough before!
Anyway as I said before I sure enjoyed watching and I obviously missed a few bits!!
Hi to Colin as well!
I will go and check out my fat wars book, perhaps I will get more info than I think.
Funny thing, my husband is always telling me that Atkins was on CNN the day after he watched. I usually miss everything. I am not is charge of the clicker either so that doesn't help much!
I am not too sure if he is learning anything though!
See you all around!
