Default A guide to high cholesterol on a LC diet

Franziska Spritzler has written a new article on the topic of hyper-responders.

She started writing about her cholesterol results and how she later reduced them on her own blog a few years ago.

If you are up for an hour and a half podcast on Heart Disease, Cholesterol, tests inc. the CAC, Diet and just about everything...I thought this KetoGeek interview with Ivor Cummins a good one. Fahad Time stamped the various topics so you can listen to only the ones of interest.

In addition to the LDL hyper-responders, they discuss the reasons why Triglycerides occasionally go up as well.

Ivor and Jeff Gerber have a book on all this coming out in January. If you already have heart disease, or trying to avoid it, he summarized the steps to follow in "The Ten Commandants"

Thanks for the references, Janet. I've got my weekend research assignments! Just listened to a bit of the podcast. Good information.

Dr Westman has a new short FB live video answering common questions about Cholesterol on a Low Carb Diet.
First...cholesterol was not put in our bodies to cause a problem, but it has a function. We could not live without it.
Normal blood pressure is key.
Looks for a Trig/HDL ratio near 1.
