Talking YUMMY Chocolate Mousse!

I concocted this last night when craving chocolate.... it turned out so yummy! I hope you like it!

Chocolate Mousse:

1 regular box of JELLO sugar free chocolate pudding
1 cup of milk
1 cup of cool whip

Just mix all together and put in the fridge. It is very light, but satisfying... not to mention lo-carb! ENJOY!

I make mine out of the Atkins powder shake.

I use double the scoops recommended, blend it in blender, then put in frig and it comes out like a mousse. So good on lc cheesecake by the way, with whip cream on top. OH GOODNESS, now I'm gonna have to go get some.

This sounds good, but pretty high in carbs. The box of pudding mix has about 28 g carbs, 1 cup milk has 12 g, and 1 cup Cool Whip has 17 g. That's 57 g of high impact carbs for the whole recipe. Try heavy whipping cream next time to keep the carb count down. If it needs watering down, you could use some cream or water instead of the milk.

The Sugar Free pudding I have only has 8 g. carbs and 1 g. fiber. Jello brand. It could also be made with Carb Countdown milk. And real whipping cream made with Splenda.

Has anyone made ice cream with Carb Countdown?

I agree with LMmama...the SF jello has 7 net gms of carbs.

I make this all the time except I use 1 cup heavy whipping cream, 1 pkg of SF pudding mix, 1/2 cup water and 2 tbsp of cool whip. Whip well, chill, serve.

You also can grind some walnuts and press in a pan and then spread above mixture and freeze for "mock ice cream sandwiches"
