Default Cream Cheese tarts

A few people have asked me about these after reading my journal, so I thought I would post the recipe for all to enjoy.

You can make these sweet, by adding the Splenda. Or you can make them without the sweetener as a savory snack (and if sweeteners slow down your weight loss). You Could add spinich, or bacon and make them like mini quiches.
Experiment.

Personally, I prefer them with 3 packets of splenda as an afternoon tea treat.

250g (or 8 oz) of cream cheese (room temperature or softened)
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
3-6 packets splenda (to taste)

Blend everything together until smooth and creamy (no lumps)
spoon into a muffin tin with 5 muffin papers
Bake in oven 350 degrees F for about 30-40 minutes (careful not to let the top burn).

Refridgerate.
Makes 5. I estimate about 1.4 g each (depending on the cream cheese you use).

Enjoy
Kim

This looks similar to a Mock Danish. I'm sure it's good.

The recipe sounds wonderful. I might try this in my shell maker. I will let you know how they turn out.
