Hello there...I eat heaps of vegies and salad...enough to satisfy me and the east couple of wks I have allowed myself 2 wholemeal or rye bread a day sometimes. I have been using basmati rice and not white rice as lower GI. I choose lower fat meats, eats fish, some lentils, fresh fruit and natural LF yoghurt,.Trying to use whole foods and cut eh processed junk! I don't have added sugar and as it is still officially winter here I am still having cooked rolled oats at breaky with cinnamon and grated apple and skim milk.
I don't count carbs now but I am still conscious of them and conscious of all that goes into my mouth as I am trying to lose this tonnnage!!
I feel alot better and my arthritis is easier.I have lost 28.7 lbs since 4 April.
I guess you would call it moderate carb or semi low carb my WOE. It is what works for me.
It has to be doable for us and become a WOL to maintain.
It is my bedtime here so forgive me for not writing more just now...goodluck with finding something that works for you and you feel good on.
