Synthroid on affects T4, which our bodies should convert to T3. However, I am one of those people where the former does not happen. Hence, my doctor put me on cytomel, which is specific for T3. I would check with your doctor about this. Jill

I moved to a very high altitude city with colder weather than I was used to and I moved from sea level (does this matter?).
Has anyone had this happen? What on Earth can be the cause? Now I am on .175 and am praying to get some energy soon!
Thanks for any help. I would really appreciate any comments.
