Default Mixing Atkins with Suzanne Somers

Suzanne Somers' book is basically Atkins, but with a twist. It says that you can have carbs, just not mixed with fat or protein and that the carbs should be eaten at least 3 hours before or after any other food. That means you could eat fruit at 9 A.M. and then have a high protein/low carb meal (steak and salad) for lunch. Has anyone tried this? Did it work? Thanks

All I know is if I ate fruit for breakfast , especially without protein and/or fat to slow it's absorption, I'd be a carb-craving monster by mid-afternoon.

Heres my opinion...
Dr. Atkins was a "real" doctor..
Suzanne Somers is... (a ditzy actress who appears to do "anything" to make a few bucks from posing nude to selling all kinds of "crap" (fitness gear, jewelry, clothing, cosmetics, etc..) a somewhat copycat diet seems to fit the pattern)
ah heck, I probably just made a bunch of people mad
but I trust "The Doctor" myself
