Default 33 grams of carb?!?!?

Hi there,

Just read the really PMS like posts on this thread -- is this what all the chocolate threads are like -- LOL! Meow -- ladies!

Anyway--regarding the Cavalier chocolates having 33 g of carbs. I am not sure what you are reading but if you count just the actualy sugar there is only like 2 or 3 grams per bar if that.

I think it depends on what diet you are doing. If you are doing Atkins then you subtract the fiber and other non insulin effective carbs from the total carb count. Therefore you really only count the sugar.

I hope that makes it clear as mud!

Cheers

Jennifer

Jen, the answer to your post is in the Chocolate thread.

There are those that count maltitol, those that don't and those that use the Hidden Carb Calculator to figure out the impact carbs that may affect them personally.

By the way, you might be interested to know that, generally speaking, ingesting more than 15g of maltitol (by weight) is considered to be entering the 'diarrhea zone'...
