Default Worried I'm going to mess this up!

So glad to have found this board! I don't know anyone that does the low protein lifestyle and am full of questions. Any help you can offer would be so greatly appreciated!

I know while working towards my goal weight I need to stay under 30 carbs. I am wondering though if there are max numbers for protein, fat, and calories. I just want to make sure that I fully understand and don't screw things up. I am extremely motivated to get all this weight off and live a healthier life!

Thanks for your help!

Try this, IMHO you won't have to worry about too much about calories. The ratio of fats to protein is important. Too much protein can stall/slow a lot of people.

Thanks newlowc! I had actually done that and it said that my protein should be 110 and fat should be 173. My problem is that I am no where close to getting that most days. I am fine staying under the 30 carbs but am unsure how to get the protein and fat up. I use myfitnesspal to track it all but with what I'm eating I'm just not real hungry.

Also not sure what to expect for weightloss. I have lost about 9 pounds in the last 3 weeks. Is this about right or should I be losing more?

Again, thanks so much for your help!!!

There is no "right" , it is just you, so we celebrate a 9 lb. loss! Post a day's meals and there are many great people here to help.

My fat sources are: butter, olive oil, coconut oil, macadamia oil, avocado, full fat salad dressing, Heavy whipping cream, fatty cuts of meat.

I think if you are doing it right your appetite will decrease. Eat when hungry, stop when satisfied, not full.

The Drs Eades have a Protein calculator in their book, since that is the plan you are on, use that one.
