Hi I am also new here,

I was diagnosed little less than a month ago with PCOS and started CAD a week ago and have already lost 5 lbs. I have noticed the exhaustion I used to feel has disappeared. The only problem I seem to have is that a have a touch of irritable bowel syndrome also and not having the fiber and fruit seems to be bothering my bowels sometime. Does anyone else have this with PCOS and if you have any suggestions??

I, too, have PCOS... and suffer from IBS. All I can tell you is to give it some time- and try taking some fiber. My stomach was a complete mess the first week and a half of Atkins (many people on here are commenting about being constipated - well, not me!! I was just the opposite ). However, around day 10 or so my system started to adjust... and now I feel much, much better than I have in a long time.
