Default B-12 Problem?

Hi all!
I have been a vegetarian on and off for many years and have recently developed low B-12. Have any of you tried the new B-12 spray? I had to go back to eating meat temporarily to boost myself back up again. I don't want to get into trouble again. I like the veggie life and really hope the LC will stop all the cravings. I am trying to use the thing of "out of sight out of mind" to try to stay away from the goodies my family insists on having in the house.

Hi, there, B-12 deficiency is really a myth for veggies life. If you need a boost, the stuff called "nutritional yeast" is great. This thing comes in the form of airy yellow flake with a cheese-nutty flavor. It is extremely low carb, high pro, high fiber, no fat, with truckload of vitamins. Try to look it up in your health food store.

Just eat some cheese or eggs. They are reliable sources of B12 as well.

Hello Nutty and Paloeanth,

Nutritional Yeast is a wonderful, vitamin packed addition to eggs, vegetables, etc. I found mine at Whole Foods, but I'm sure any health food store would carry it.
