I'm a 65 year old female who realizes now that I have reached middle-age I've got to lose that extra weight.
Anyone who is in their 60's, retired and not involved in a busy work schedule or kids anymore, please get in touch so we can support each other.
I am looking for motivational ideas, receipes and anything that will make me smile... Hope to hear from folks....WayToGo

Default Welcome!

Hi WaytoGo

I'm glad you joined our support group. You'll find all the support, encouragement, inspiration, recipes and friends you need right here. Regardless of age, health conditions and weight, we all are on this weight loss, wellness journey together.

1) Have you looked around this site much? There is a ton of information, click on the orange bar at the top of the screen to find good stuff. There lots of forums for you to go peek into. Enjoy!

2) The 3rd thread in the Newbies Questions is called Hot Links & you'll find some absolutely amazing threads there that Karen has gathered together.

3) Start a journal, and post, post, post. A journal gives you a place to post menus, thoughts, goals etc & *bonus* gives you a home where your new friends can come visit.

If you are just starting to eat low carb, I strongly encourage you to go to Low Carb Tips on the orange bar. Oh, and re-read your book, you'll be surprised how much you'll learn on the 2nd read, I sure was!

Best wishes for succes in shedding your unwanted weight.
