Cool Body Fat Calculator

I just found this body fat calculator and it looks pretty neat, but I'm not sure how accurate it is. I have one of those scales that does body fat and this calculator gives me about 5% higher than my scale does, but the calculator is nicer in that it has a charting feature and will also calculate your punds of fat and pounds of lean for you.

I was wondering if, perhaps, someone out there who is pretty sure they already have an accurate calculation of their body fat would check it out and let me know how accurate it seems.

Just wanting to gather a few opinions...

Hi Georgia,

There are many ways of measuring body fat, and it seems that none of them are super accurate, except for the "under the water" method.

But all is not lost. The consensus seems to be that as long as you consistently use the same method, you will have a good idea of how well said body fat is reducing.

You'll find LOADS of info in this "sticky" thread from the BFL forum: Using BF% as goal.

HTH
